Phytochemistry

Phytochemistry is a branch of chemistry that studies phytochemicals. They are groups of chemicals present in plants. These phytochemicals have been linked to a variety of therapeutic characteristics, including anticancer, anti-plasmodial, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant.

Plants produce phytochemicals for a variety of reasons, including defence against insect assaults and plant diseases. They produce a wide range of chemicals, which includes alkaloids, glycosides, polyphenols and terpenoids.

In order to provide QUALITY consultancy services in the domain of phytochemistry, we at Adina research and training center (AREtC) are committed to expanding our capacity and research scope in accordance with AREtC’s mission and core values engaging the brightest phytochemistry experts to guide and train students and researchers in the traditional and emerging fields of phytochemistry. Core consultancy areas include plant extraction, fractionation (including solid phase extraction), purification of extracts, TLC-guided isolation of bioactive compounds, detection of bioactive compounds and collaborative LCMS analysis.
