ATREC is located within Ibadan city in a safe, serene and friendly environment conducive for learning, research and training. Our drive to revolutionize and transform scientific research in Nigeria and extension, Africa has been strengthened the vision of raising a new generation of scientists, researchers and students who are poised to transform Nigeria and Africa in scientific research outcomes and innovations. Our expert staff have been well trained with international experience in multidisciplinary scientific fields including Pharmacognosy – plant selection, plant collection, plant processing, extraction of crude drugs etc, Pharmaceutical chemistry – analysis of drugs, water, soil and food samples, phytochemistry (isolation, fractionation, chromatography and peptidomics), ethnomedicine/Traditional Medicine, analytical chemistry and Biochemistry; other areas include research methods and data collection, questionnaire design and administration. AREtC offers group and personalized training services within the areas of expertise of the staff of the centre.
AREtC provides hospitality experience that last longer in the memory. Comfort within the center has been given a priority beginning from the contact person a prospective researcher or trainee calls/meet for enquiry, to the personnel at the gate on arrival and throughout the duration of your stay; every visitor is given maximum support every AREtC staff you meet in order to achieve intended goals.
