With the growth of omics databases, particularly for the kingdom Plantae, plant scientists have turned to bioinformatics to elucidate the mechanism of action of certain phytochemicals while also generating phylogenetic information linking the medicinal properties of the plants.

Nonetheless, suitable tools, including computer software and mathematical algorithms, are critical for the efficient management and interpretation of plant genomes.

As a result, Adina Research and Training Center (AREtC) has professionals who can provide services spanning plant bioinformatics and train and educate interested people or groups.
