Mr Hyacinth Somuadina Okoli is the co-founder and chairman of Adina Research and Training Center. He has a lot of experience working in the chemical industry in Nigeria and the United States. Mr. Hyacinth has a keen interest in offering scientific communities solutions to problems that have slowed down the advancement of their research efforts. He graduated from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in Greensboro, North Carolina, with a master’s degree in chemical engineering.
Mr. Hyacinth has a broad range of technical experience and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Nigeria’s Nnamdi Azikiwe University in Awka, Anambra State. He holds certifications for Certified Refrigeration Operator License, Industrial Steam Boiler Operator 1 License, PSM/RMP Certification, HAZMAT Train the Trainer Certification – (NEW ENVIRONMENT INC. Ohio, USA), and Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from GCAP Ammonia School in Garden City, Kansas, USA (North Carolina A&T State University; Greensboro, NC, USA).

Mr Hammed graduated with honors from Osun State University in Osogbo, Nigeria in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science (B.SC) in Biochemistry. He then completed the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Scheme at Al-Mustapha Model College in Ogidi, Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria, where he taught and trained high school students in chemistry and laboratory
procedures. He recently completed his master’s program in the Laboratories for Biomembrane Research and Biotechnology, Department of Biochemistry, Unversity of Ibadan, Nigeria, where he was trained the prominent mitochondria researchers, Professor Olufunso Olorunsogo and Dr Oyebode Olubukola. His research and academic perseverance had given him the chance to collaborate with several notable academics in the Department of Biochemistry at the University of Ibadan, including Dr Amos Abolaji and Dr Solomon E. Owumi. He is also a recipient of international Brain Research Organization (IBRO) travel grant in 2021 to Khouribga, Morroco.
Mr. Hammed’s areas of competence include plant extraction, enzymatic tests, microscopy, spectroscopy, mitochondrial research, thin layer chromatography, column chromatography, vacuum liquid chromatography, and peptide purification.
